The Lodge also benefits from its own parking which is laid to gravel for two vehicles along with mature lawned areas. Outside storage comes from the timber shed located to the side. Outside lighting. 

Whether you plan to use the Lodge as a couples’ getaway or a family haven, it is somewhere for you to make those life long memories and to put down some roots in the local area whilst you make the most of the beautiful countryside this area has to offer. All contents are included with the exception of a few personal items.

NOTE

Please note that the Chalet is privately owned and does not allow for private letting. Brighouse Bay Holiday Park is non full time residential. The lodge can be used either 12 months or 7 months of the year. The site fees for 2021 have been paid in full by the current owner.

Included in the site fees are Effluent/Waste/Water and Rates. Gas and electricity are metered and these bills are paid directly to the Park.

The Master Bedroom is one of three Bedrooms, double in size with a range of fitted wardrobes with hanging rails and shelving above, two bedside drawers, dressing table with mirror and drawers, central heating radiator, wall mounted reading lights, window to side. 

The further two bedrooms are both double/twin in size, currently dressed as twins and has fitted wardrobes with hanging rail and shelf above, bedside drawers, windows to rear, fitted carpet, wall mounted reading lights, central heating radiator. Both tastefully dressed.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Brighouse Bay Holiday Park, one of Scotland’s most popular destinations, is set in a quiet and picturesque peninsula on the Solway Coast. It is surrounded by 1200 acres of excellent walking countryside.

The Park boasts a wide range of facilities and pursuits including an indoor pool complex with Jacuzzi, Steam Room and Gym, free course fishing on site and sea fishing from a boat, shore and rocks. There is also a Bar, Bistro and Function Room and a Pony Trekking Centre. The park also has a well stocked Grocery Shop.

Also for the experienced golfers, Brighouse Bay offers the opportunity to play a 9 hole, 3 par course or 18 hole course both providing outstanding views across the Irish Sea. It also benefits from a driving range for practicing that swing. 

Brighouse Bay is situated five miles from Kirkcudbright, a picturesque historic harbour town. It has been the home to distinguished artists, of whom E. A. Hornel, Jessie M. King, and Charles Oppenheimer were the most prominent, with the opportunity to visit their works. Kirkcudbright also offers a great selection of quality restaurants and cafes as well as a range of shopping facilities.
